Back in the belly

This is Eden in the cast we made of my belly at 37 weeks--only 1 week before she was born! She seemed right at home in there--almost a little too at home, actually; just before I lifted her out, she was kind enough to grace it with a bright yellow poop. I guess I've learned not to trust a naked baby, no matter how adorable she looks that way!

Incidentally, today was Eden's due date--but we're happy she came to join us a little early, as the last two weeks have been priceless.

One of my coworkers gave us this little pink dress for Eden. It's marked "3-6 months," but it's also marked "10-13 lbs," making us figure that it's probably not too long for her wardrobe. So we put it on to go to a 4th of July barbecue yesterday, where she was quite a hit.

Now that my milk has come in and Eden has spit up copiously all over herself a few times, we thought it would be nice to give her a little dunk in the tub. As you can see from the video, she didn't seem to mind the experience too much--although literally minutes after we took her out, she spit up all over herself again, then pooped all over herself and Matt's hands. So much for all clean!
